About SPIROMETRY NI

Spirometry is the most common type of breathing or pulmonary function test. This test measures how much air you can breathe in and out of your lungs, as well as how easily and fast you can blow the air out of your lungs.

New! We now also provide Hand–Arm Vibration (HAV) assessments, conducted by a fully qualified nurse—ensuring accurate, compliant vibration-risk testing and expert interpretation of results

How is a spirometry test done?

A spirometry test is done using a small machine attached to a mouthpiece, called a spirometer.
The nurse can show you how to blow into the spirometer before starting the test.

Our Services

Our mobile spirometry testing service allows our health surveillance experts to conduct lung function testing on your staff at your premises. This determines their exposure levels. By doing this you can take the required action to limit the damage to their health.
